This cordless chainsaw runs on rechargeable lithium-ion batteries and is supplied with two 4 Ah battery packs, so it needs no fuel and no mains cable. It has a brushless motor and a 40.6 cm (16 inch) guide bar with a stated chain speed of 13 m/s. It is intended for garden and domestic wood cutting such as trimming branches, cutting logs to length and preparing firewood. With a net weight of about 5 kg, it is a hand-held saw for general use around the home and garden.

Chain tensioning and chain lubrication are automatic. The 180 ml oil reservoir has a window so the oil level can be checked at a glance. Before starting work, fit a charged battery and fill the reservoir with chain oil. Safety fittings include a chain brake, an anti-kickback system, a safety lock button and a front hand guard. Because it is battery powered, it produces no exhaust fumes during use. Protective clothing, gloves, sturdy footwear, hearing protection and eye protection should be worn whenever the saw is in use, and the safety instructions should be followed.
