This page is the contract between you and us. It explains who sells the products on gadgerz-shoppy.com, how an order is made, what you pay and when, how the goods reach you, what you can do if you change your mind, and what happens if a product does not work.
It is deliberately written in plain English. If anything is unclear, email us at info@gadgerz-shoppy.combefore you order: we reply within 24 business hours.
We suggest you print or save this page. We send you a copy with your order confirmation email in any case.

Who you are buying from
The gadgerz-shoppy.com online shop is run, and the products are sold, by:
Registered name: Scalefuel Ads Ltd
Legal form: private company limited by shares, registered in England and Wales
Company number: 15697275
Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom
VAT: not VAT registered, so no VAT number is shown
This is also the address to use for notices and complaints. The registered office is an administrative address: it is not a shop open to the public and it is not the address for returns. We give you the correct return address by email.
In the text below, “we” and “us” mean Scalefuel Ads Ltd, and “you” means the person buying.
Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to every order placed through gadgerz-shoppy.com.
You may order if you are at least 18 and have the capacity to enter into a contract.
We sell to consumers, meaning people buying for personal and household use, outside any trade or profession.
If you are buying for a business, you are not a consumer: the 14-day right to cancel and the consumer protections described below do not apply. Business sales are governed by the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and the terms agreed between us. Tell us before you order so we handle it correctly.
Products are sold in quantities consistent with normal household use. We may refuse or reduce orders for unusual quantities that look like resale.
Nothing on this page removes or reduces the rights the law gives you as a consumer. If any sentence conflicts with a rule that protects you, the rule wins.
When your order becomes a contract
The site has no basket today and takes no payments online. Orders are placed using a form. Here is every step, in order:
You choose the product and read the listing: main features, price, delivery charges and timescales.
You fill in the form with your name, delivery address, telephone number and email address. We need the phone number to ring you back, and the courier needs it to let you know the parcel is coming.
You check your details and send the form. The button on the form is not a payment button: sending the form is only a request and does not commit you to pay anything.
We ring you. We check the product is in stock and that the courier serves your address, and we confirm the product, quantity, address and total amount with you over the phone, delivery charges included.
We send you the order confirmation email. It sets out what you ordered, the total to pay the courier, and these terms.
You accept that email in writing, by replying to it. This is the moment the contract is formed: not when you send the form, and not during the phone call. Up to this point you can stop whenever you like, at no cost and without giving a reason.
We pick and dispatch the parcel.
You pay the courier on delivery.
Throughout the rest of this page, and across the site, “order confirmation” means this moment: our email, accepted by you in writing. Our handling times and the long-stop delivery deadline both run from it.
If we never send the confirmation, or you never accept it, no contract is formed and you owe nothing. A phone call in which we note down your request does not replace the written confirmation.
How to correct a mistake before it is too late
Before you press send, read the form again: you can correct any field on screen.
If you spot the mistake after sending it, you can put everything right during our confirmation call, which exists for exactly this reason. Or write to us straight away at info@gadgerz-shoppy.com, or ring +44 7311115482, giving your name, phone number and what needs changing. Until the parcel leaves us we can change the address, the quantity or the product, or cancel everything at no cost. Once the parcel is on its way we can no longer change it: in that case your right to cancel after delivery still applies.
The contract is concluded in English. We keep a copy of your order and of the version of these terms in force on that day: ask us for a copy at any time at info@gadgerz-shoppy.com.
Prices, currency and total cost
Prices are shown in euros (EUR) and are the prices published on the site at the moment you send the form.
What the price on the product page includes:
the product described, with the accessories listed on the page;
any taxes that apply.
What is not included in the product price and is added separately, always shown before you confirm:
delivery charges, as set out in our Delivery Policy. Delivery is free on orders over EUR 39; below that it costs EUR 5.90. The exact amount is confirmed to you on the phone and written in the confirmation email before the parcel leaves us;
any contribution linked to the payment method or the delivery area, where one applies.
The total that counts is the one written in the confirmation email. That is the exact amount you hand to the courier. After confirmation we add no costs, no admin fees and no surprise surcharges.
If a price on the site is obviously wrong because of a technical fault or a typing error (a robot vacuum cleaner at EUR 1, say), we are not obliged to sell at that price. We tell you immediately, before confirming: you can accept the correct price or cancel the request without paying anything.
If the price changes after we have confirmed your order, the confirmed price is the one that applies to you.
Payment methods we accept today, and surcharges
We accept one payment method today: cash on delivery. You pay the courier when you receive the parcel, after checking it has arrived.
We ask for no payment upfront.
We do not collect card details on the site. The site has no card checkout.
We never ask for bank transfers, top-ups or prepaid vouchers.
On delivery, ask the courier which forms of payment they accept in your area, and make sure you get a receipt.
Surcharges: we add no hidden charges for paying cash on delivery. If a contribution applies to your order, it is written in the confirmation email before the parcel leaves us, and it is already part of the total you hand to the courier. We never charge you more for using a means of payment than it costs us.
Watch out for scams: we will never ask you, by phone or email, for your full card number, expiry date, security code or the codes your bank sends you. If someone does this in our name, it is not us: stop and email info@gadgerz-shoppy.com.
Stock availability and what happens if an item is unavailable
The information on the site is an invitation to buy, not a guarantee that the product is in stock at that exact moment. We check availability when your request reaches us, before confirming.
If the product is not available:
Before confirmation: we let you know by email or phone. We offer you the choice of waiting, swapping it for an equivalent product, or cancelling. It is your call. If you cancel you pay nothing, because no contract was ever formed.
After confirmation, if the problem comes to light in the warehouse: we tell you within 2 business days. If the goods had already been paid for, we return the full amount within 14 days; with cash on delivery you have paid nothing, so there is nothing to refund.
Orders with several products: we send what is in stock and tell you what is missing. You pay the courier only for what you receive.
Product photographs are for illustration: colours and details can vary slightly because of how screens render them. The features that matter (dimensions, power, materials, what is in the box) are the ones written on the product page.
Delivery
Timescales, areas served, charges and what to do if the parcel does not arrive are explained in full in our Delivery Policy, which forms part of these terms.
In normal conditions you receive your order within 2-5 business days of confirmation. The clock starts at order confirmation, meaning the email you accepted in writing, not when you sent the form.
Two rules always apply, whatever the delivery page says:
We deliver without undue delay and in any event within 30 days of order confirmation, unless we agree something different with you in writing.
If we miss that deadline, you can give us a reasonable extra period in writing. If we still fail to deliver within it, you can treat the contract as at an end and get back anything you have paid within 14 days.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you when you physically receive the parcel, whether that is you or someone you nominate. Until then the risk in transit is ours. When the parcel arrives, check the packaging is intact: if it is visibly damaged, write “damaged, accepted subject to checking” on the courier’s delivery note and send us a photograph within a few days.
Your right to cancel: 14 days to change your mind
You have 14 days to change your mind, and you do not have to give a reason. This is your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. The 14 days start on the day you physically receive the goods (the last item, if your order arrives in several parcels).
How it works, in short:
How to tell us: an email to info@gadgerz-shoppy.com is enough, giving your name, order number and the words “I wish to cancel”. You can use the model cancellation form on the dedicated page, but you do not have to.
Returning the goods: after we reply you have 14 days to send the product back to the address we give you.
Refund: we refund you within 14 days of receiving your notice, including the standard delivery charge. We may wait until we have the goods back or proof that you have sent them, as the law allows.
Return costs: the cost of sending the goods back is yours. We pay it when the product is faulty, not as described, damaged in transit or different from what you ordered.
Bulky products (some robot vacuum cleaners, garden tools or kitchen appliances, for example): these cannot go back by ordinary post. The cost depends on weight, volume and address, so there is no single rate: ask us before you order and we will put the estimate for that product in writing. If we have not told you this cost before you ordered, we pay for the return.
Condition of the goods: you can handle the product as you would in a shop. You are responsible for any reduction in value if you use it beyond what is needed to establish its nature, characteristics and how it works.
Exceptions: the right to cancel does not apply to some categories, for example goods made to your specification and sealed goods that are not suitable for return for hygiene reasons once opened. The full list is on the dedicated page.
Step-by-step procedure, model cancellation form and refund timescales: Returns and refunds.
Faulty goods: your statutory rights
Everything we sell comes with your statutory rights. This is not a paid service and it is not insurance: it is the law, and it costs you nothing. Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
How long you are covered: this depends on the country the goods are delivered to, because the rule most favourable to you always applies. In the United Kingdom there is no fixed two-year limit: under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you have 30 days to reject faulty goods and get your money back, and after that your claim runs within the usual limitation periods, generally six years in England and Wales and five years in Scotland. In Italy the period is 2 years from delivery. In Spain it is 3 years. In the other EU countries we deliver to it is at least 2 years, and where national law gives you longer, that longer period applies. The full country-by-country picture is on the Warranty page.
What is covered: goods that do not work, do not match the description, do not have the qualities you would expect from that kind of product, or are incomplete.
Who has to prove what: for an initial period after delivery a fault is presumed to have been there when the goods were delivered, so you are covered without having to prove anything further. In the United Kingdom that period is six months; in Italy it is one year. The length varies by country and is set out in the table on the Warranty page.
What you can ask for: in the United Kingdom, within the first 30 days you can reject the goods and get a full refund. After that you can ask for a repair or a replacement, free of charge; if that is impossible, is not done within a reasonable time or causes you significant inconvenience, you can ask for a price reduction or reject the goods for a refund. EU customers have equivalent rights: repair or replacement first, then a price reduction or an end to the contract with a refund.
What is not covered: fair wear and tear, damage from misuse or lack of maintenance, damage caused by dropping or knocking the product after delivery, and consumable parts (filters and brushes, for example) worn out through use.
To make a claim, email info@gadgerz-shoppy.com with your order number, a description of the problem and a few photographs or a short video. We reply within 24 business hours and tell you what happens next.
We do not sell paid extended warranties. If a manufacturer includes its own guarantee in the box, that sits on top of your statutory rights and never replaces them.
Your order confirmation on a durable medium
The confirmation email described above is also your written copy of the contract: you can keep it and print it. It arrives within 24 business hours of our phone call and always before the parcel leaves us. There are no other emails to wait for: there is one, and this is it. It contains:
our full company details;
a summary of what you ordered, with quantities and main features;
the total price, broken down into product, delivery and any contribution;
the payment method (today: cash on delivery) and the expected delivery timescale;
information about your right to cancel and the model cancellation form;
a reminder of your statutory rights if the goods are faulty;
a copy of these terms in the version in force on that day.
If the email has not arrived within 24 business hours, check your junk folder and then write to us: we send it again straight away, to a different address if you prefer.
Complaints: how to raise one and how quickly we reply
A formal complaint is for when the problem has not been sorted out through the usual exchanges with our support team. The procedure is this:
Set out what happened, in order: what you ordered, when, what went wrong, what you have already written to us and what you are asking for. Attach photographs or documents if you have them.
You receive an acknowledgement within 2 business days, with your case reference.
You receive a reasoned reply within 14 days of the date of the complaint. If we need to check something with the courier or the warehouse, we still write to you within those 14 days to say where we have got to and when you will have our final answer.
If the reply does not satisfy you, you can ask for a review: reply to the same email with REVIEW at the start of the subject line. Your case is then read again by someone other than the person who handled it first.
The full procedure, with the forms and the timescale for each step, is on our Complaints page.
Raising a complaint costs you none of your rights. You remain free to go to a consumer advice body, to the competent authorities in your country, or to court.
Every way to reach us, and what to write so you get an answer first time: Contact us.
Legal restrictions and delivery limits
A few things are worth knowing before you order:
Over-18s only. We do not accept orders from anyone under 18.
Household use. The products we sell (vacuum cleaners, robot vacuum cleaners, kitchen appliances, garden tools and homeware) are meant for private household use, not for professional or continuous industrial use.
Electrical appliances. These are designed for the European domestic mains supply. Always check the voltage, the plug and the instructions on the product page and in the manual before use.
Battery products. Robot vacuum cleaners and cordless tools contain lithium batteries, which are subject to transport rules. In some remote areas and smaller islands the courier may apply restrictions or longer timescales: if your address is affected we tell you before confirming the order.
Areas we serve. We deliver only to the addresses and countries listed in our Delivery Policy. If we do not serve your address, we do not confirm the order and we let you know.
No resale or export. Products are sold for personal use. You may not resell them, or export or re-export them to countries or people subject to restrictions or sanctions, without our written agreement. If you are buying to take the goods abroad, you are responsible for complying with the customs, tax and safety rules of the destination country.
Safety. Read the manual before first use, keep appliances and garden tools out of the reach of children, and use products only for the purpose described. Any other use can be dangerous and voids cover for the resulting damage.
We do not sell licensable products, weapons, alcohol, tobacco, medicines, supplements, financial products, digital content or subscription services.
Promotions and discount codes
When we run a promotion, these rules apply unless the promotion itself says otherwise in writing:
every promotion has a start date and an end date, shown on the page or in the email announcing it;
one discount code per order: codes cannot be combined with each other or with reductions already applied;
codes are personal and non-transferable, have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash and give no right to change;
the discount applies to the product price; unless stated otherwise, it does not apply to delivery charges;
promotions run while stocks allocated to them last;
if you cancel a discounted order, we refund what you actually paid; if the discount depended on a minimum spend that the return takes you below, the refund is recalculated accordingly;
we can cancel a code used improperly, for example one generated fraudulently or used by someone not entitled to it.
On was-now prices: when we show a previous price next to a discounted one, the crossed-out price is the lowest price we applied to that same product in the 30 days before the promotion started.
We do not subscribe to any code of conduct. We ask for no deposits, bonds or financial guarantees. The contract ends with delivery and payment: there are no subscriptions, automatic renewals or minimum terms.
Our liability, and its limits
We are responsible for foreseeable loss that follows directly from our breach, for example a product that never arrives or arrives faulty.
We are not responsible for loss caused by:
using the product other than as described in the manual;
installation, assembly or maintenance carried out incorrectly, where we did not carry it out;
incomplete or incorrect delivery details you gave us;
events outside our reasonable control (strikes, severe weather, transport disruption, acts of public authorities). In those cases we tell you, we pause the timescales for as long as strictly necessary and, if the wait becomes unreasonable, you can cancel the order at no cost.
Nothing on this page excludes or limits our liability where the law does not allow it: in particular for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for defective product liability, and for the rights you have as a consumer.
Personal data and cookies
We use your data only to handle your order, deliver it and reply to you. We sell it to no one. The courier receives only what is needed to deliver: name, address and phone number.
Full detail, the legal basis, how long we keep data and how to exercise your rights: Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data protection authority, or, if you live in the EU, to your national supervisory authority.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the payment methods we accept, our couriers or the applicable rules change.
The version that always applies is the one published on the day you send your order: a later update does not change the rules of an order already confirmed. The copy we send with your confirmation email is your proof.
Governing law and jurisdiction
The contract is governed by the law of England and Wales, where Scalefuel Ads Ltd is registered.
That choice does not take away the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you habitually live. If you live in the United Kingdom, you keep everything the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you: pre-contract information, the 14-day right to cancel, goods that must be of satisfactory quality, and protection against unfair terms. If you live in Italy, Spain or another EU country, you keep the equivalent rights under your own national consumer law, including the 14-day right to cancel and a statutory guarantee of at least 2 years.
As a consumer you can bring proceedings in the courts of the place where you live. No clause can take that away from you.
Before it ever gets as far as a court, though, write to us: most problems are solved with one email to info@gadgerz-shoppy.com.
