This expandable garden hose is for everyday outdoor jobs such as watering the garden, rinsing the driveway or garage, and washing a car. The hose body is made of flexible elastomeric polyester in a five-layer construction. When the tap is opened, water pressure extends the hose to a length of up to 30 metres. When the water is turned off and drained, it contracts back to a shorter length, so it takes up little space when stored.

Both ends of the hose are fitted with brass connectors with a double seal to help prevent drips at the joints. A brass tap adapter connects the hose to an outdoor tap. A pistol-grip spray gun with several spray patterns fits on the other end. To use it, connect the hose to the tap, attach the spray gun and open the water. Close the tap and release the remaining water when you have finished, and the hose shortens again.
